Britney Spears/Kevin Federline custody case still heading for trial
Kevin Federline’s lawyer has said there isn’t anything strange about the decision to delay the next Britney Spears/Federline custody hearing.
The former married couple were due in court today in the last pre-trial custody hearing but the session has now been pushed back to Friday, suggesting that the legal teams may be working on a deal to avoid the full trial next month.
But Kevin’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told OK magazine there is no kind of settlement in decision: “It’s more for technical reasons in a complicated case like this.
“It was my idea to delay it for a day. But the next available day for Wasser and I was Friday, simple as that.
“I think I will know better what is needed to go to trial then, than I do now.
“I’m preparing to go to trial until I don’t have a reason to go to trial.”
Britney and Kevin have been in a custody dispute over their two sons, Sean and Jayden, since the end of their marriage in October 2006. They initially shared joint physical and legal custody of the boys but late last year, Britney’s access was reduced to just monitored visitation sessions after she failed to comply with court conditions for custody.
Kevin is fighting for permanent sole legal and physical custody of the boys while Britney, who has been under medical and legal supervision of her father for the last six months, wants more access. Unless a settlement is reached, the trial will begin on 25th August.

how can he have permanent sole and legal custody what a stooge he is. that’s almost never granted unless someone is like abusive. if she’s better they should have 50/50. he’s not like the best guy in the world and not at all the best role model so what his problem. permanent? he wants a permanent check in the mail.
