Hayden Panettiere: it’s terrifying to hear first single on the radio

Hayden Panettiere said it was “terrifying” to hear her debut single being played on the radio yesterday morning.

The Heroes actress played her first single ‘Wake Up Call’ on yesterday’s On Air With Ryan Seacrest show and said she found it very scary to actually be hearing the music being broadcast because she’s been working on it for so long.

Hayden has been working on her album for four years inbetween acting gigs and added that the long time line has made it a varied collection: “[The music] changed so much over the years, just because my life experiences and who I am as a person is obviously reflected in the music.

“[The tracks are] very different, very diverse, [to make] sure that music didn’t all sound the same.”

The single is set to be released in the US on 5th August with the album expected to follow in early 2009.
