Heather Mills takes new boyfriend (and friends) on £250,000 holiday
Heather Mills took new boyfriend Jamie Walker on her £250,000 divorce celebration holiday last week.
Heather took around 20 loyal staff and friends, including Jamie, on the week-long holiday to Richard Branson’s private island in the Caribbean, Necker - at a cost of £24,000 a night, plus more than £50,000 on flights.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: “Heather wanted to celebrate the divorce in style, and to thank everyone in Team
“The cost of the Necker trip was way in excess of £150,000 – around £100,000 in excess of it. But it was a one-off celebration for the people around her, so from her point of view it was well worth it.
“She asked the island’s staff to serve only vegan food and they all spent a lot of time water-skiing and on jet-skis.”
The couple met when Jamie was caring for Heather’s daughter Beatrice in the kids’ club at the Abama Hotel in Tenerife earlier in the year but the source explained that once their relationship came to light, Jamie was more than happy to leave his job behind for the holiday: “The [hotel] bosses quite liked the media attention because they thought it was good publicity.
“But Jamie thought it would be easier to get away and let all the fuss die down. Heather stepped in and offered him a bolthole.
“Jamie knows all about Heather’s past and all he’s bothered about is the present. They are very happy together.”
In March, Heather was awarded a £24.3million settlement in her divorce from Paul McCartney.

So far Heather has spent $5m on an apartment in NY, $500,000 on this holiday and now she is looking for a $1m apartment in LA. That is $6.5m in total (not including any living expenses accrued outside this) and she hasn’t even had her settlement yet! This money will more than likely have to come out of the capital that is supposed to generate the £600,000 a year that the courts say she needs to live on and this will leave her short of money. That is unless she decides to do without the London home financed in the settlement.
This doesn’t even begin to take into account the fact that she has no money coming in (people aren’t exactly lining up to offer her work). Either way, it seems to me that Heather’s finances are in a bit of a mess and at the rate she is spending, she can expect to run out of money in less than 2 years.

Why is it always ok for the man to walk, to have an excuse, normally he can just Blame The Woman? Paul Macca married her, got whatever goodies he could from a younger woman, including a beautiful child. He could well afford to pay for such an intrusion on her life, for what he took from her. She could have married someone who would have remained with her, who had a value on her love and who wanted that most precious and that which you cannot calculate, real love/proper family life. How much money does he need? He wouldn’t feel 48million dollars as much as the average man in the street would feel 100K dollars, would people ever cop on and look at it in relation to how much he has. Will Paul have to shop at Aldi? Cut down on the basics? He’ll still go 5 star all the way, don’t worry. She was in crazy love, towards the end of the marriage had a sore leg that needed operations and he was off gallivanting doing his tours, not really killing himself being the supportive husband or father.
He is an old trout, a selfish a*****e. But all hail Macca, he is a MAN, and they can do what they like. Because Heather is a WOMAN, she is expected to just take bad treatment, say ‘it wasn’t meant to be’ and struggle on. He can say ‘the child is with her mother’ as he gallivants as a single man. With the present status quo, she cannot be mercenary to look for compensation, but he can be tight a fishes a@@ holding onto every penny like Scrooge. Double standards? I say to hell with that, she was right to hold him accountable to his vows, to expect him to be a good husband and father and act like a mature person. Which he obviously should be by now, not a fly by night able to walk out of her life without paying a significant contribution for giving her a child, yet not remaining part of their family. He wasn’t terribly ‘hurt’ really considering how swiftly he picked up another young beautiful woman for himself, well at least one. Heather was hurt, and lost a lot of her dignity following him and losing the head because she had real, raw love. She took the old a*****e to the cleaners because he promised her everything but tore her heart out and threw her away like an old rag. Karma or just desserts?
I hope Heather can learn to love again. Money won’t bring happiness or necessarily the right people to you, but it may make rearing her child easier. She is a tough cookie, but Paul McCartny almost broke her.
