The couple married in 2001 and have two children together, six year old Roman and four year old Valentino

The former model’s spokesperson confirmed the “mutally agreed” decision to split yesterday, but added that for the sake of the children “they stay friends and will continue to be involved in their upbringing.”

A source close to the family added that the couple have just “grown apart”: “It’s very sad [but] there is no one else involved.”
