amy winehouseAmy Winehouse reportedly went on a drinking spree after finding out husband Blake Fielder-Civil has to stay in jail for the rest of the year.

Amy is said to have been convinced that Blake would be released at his sentencing on Monday as he had spent nearly nine months on remand on the run up to his trial last month - but the judge handed him a 27 month sentence, meaning that even with time served and good behaviour credit, he will remain in jail until December.

Amy wasn’t present at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Monday for the sentencing but when she was told the news, she is said to have cried: “Why Blakey? They said he was coming out.”

A source told the Mirror: “Amy was convinced Blake was going to be released from prison and was very excited. She was desperate to make sure everything was perfect for his homecoming.

“She hired a few cleaners to do the dirty work as one cleaner just wouldn’t have been enough. All four of them donned rubber gloves - but bravely shunned the offer of masks.

“It’s a big property, but Amy had created such an almighty mess and it took them over five hours to make the house respectable. Their hard work went down the drain though when she heard Blake wasn’t going to be released.

“She went on a massive bender and ended up inviting a bunch of people back. The place got trashed again.”

Amy’s dad Mitch Winehouse has said Amy is “doing OK” now.
