sarah jessica parker and matthew broderickMatthew Broderick cheated on wife of 11 years Sarah Jessica Parker with another woman, according to Star magazine.

The publication claims that Matthew had an affair with the woman, an unnamed 25 year old youth worker, from November to February while Sarah was busy with the big screen adaptation of Sex and the City.

A source told the magazine that the pair met in a Manhattan bar late last year and he told the woman that his relationship with Sarah was “not good”. The source later claimed to have seen Matthew heading into the woman’s apartment carrying wine and flowers.

Matthew’s spokesperson refused to confirm or deny the allegations, simply telling the magazine there would be “no comment”.

In April this year, Sarah admitted that their marriage, like just about all relationships, is far from perfect: “I’m really lucky that [Matthew] is the father of my son but that doesn’t mean that we always agree on everything. We’ve had some rather treacherous train rides.

“I’m happy to be with him regardless but I’m sure there are many times he wishes he wasn’t with me.”

Sarah and Matthew married in 1997 after five years of dating and welcomed son James Wilkie into the world in October 2002.
