Angelina Jolie conceived twins using IVF, claims source
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly used fertility treatments to conceive their newborn twins, Knox and Vivienne.
Angelina gave birth to the boy and girl at a hospital in Nice, France earlier in the month, undergoing a Caesarian section to ensure the safety of both her and the children.
An inside source told Us Weekly that Angelina also wanted to minimise the difficulty going into the pregnancy: “They conceived through in vitro fertilization. They both desperately wanted more babies soon.
“[With IVF, Angelina] wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant. She could just knock it out.”
The couple, who now have six children, have previously said they’d like to continue having children. Last year, Angelina said the specific number of children “fluctuates between seven and 13 or 14. We kind of feel like, damn it, we’re up for the challenge.
“[But] if we’re going to have [that many] kids, we’d like to raise them while we’re young.”
