Maggie GyllenhaalMaggie Gyllenhaal has said she wouldn’t like her daughter Ramona to follow in her footsteps - or those of her dad Peter Sarsgaard or dad Jake Gyllenhaal.

The Dark Knight star has tried to shelter the little girl from the limelight since she was born in October 2006 and she explained recently that she wouldn’t want Ramona seeking out fame: “I kind of try to keep her out of this kind of [showbusiness] stuff. It’s not really good for kids.

“I know it’s like such a cliche… I really hope she does something else. I love what I do but I don’t want to bring her around all of this stuff.”

Maggie has previously said that she and fiance Peter may move out of New York to protect Ramona from the paparazzi as she grows up.
