Lindsay Lohan “over the moon” at mum’s acceptance of Sam Ronson

Lindsay Lohan is said to be delighted that her mum Dina Lohan has given her blessing for the actress’ relationship with Samantha Ronson.

Dina had previously dismissed suggestions that there was anything more than friendship between the two women but eariler this week, she explained that she likes Sam as a person and “as long as my daughter is happy and healthy, it is what it is.”

Despite the still somewhat ambiguous statement, Lindsay is said to be “over the moon” about her mum’s new acceptance.

A source told the Sun: “Lindsay is blissfully happy with Sam but hearing her mum give her approval is the cherry on the cake.

“She realises now that her mum was hesitant because she thought Sam might break her heart.

“But Dina has really warmed to Sam, and she can see how well Lindsay is right now.

“She is supportive of her - and Lindsay is over the moon.”
