mark wahlbergMark Wahlberg has said he’s going to marry long-term partner Rhea Durham next year because he’s finally got to the point in his life where he thinks he can make a marriage work.

He told People magazine recently: “I wasn’t prepared to be married - I don’t care who it was - at [age] 20 or 30.

“[But now I’m] committing to really making it work constantly and all the other things that go into building a solid foundation.

“We continue to grow in our relationship. I think we have a much better chance at succeeding and staying together.”

The couple are expecting their third child together in September and he added that while he’s working, “my family travels with me when I work most of the time, or I go back and forth on weekends.

“[Between projects, I have] a good four or five months off. I try to take as much time off as possible … Mommy’s had enough of Daddy being away at work.”

Mark and Rhea are expected to marry in a formal ceremony next summer.
