Scarlett Johansson “very excited” about marrying Ryan Reynolds

Scarlett Johansson has said she’s “very excited” about the prospect of marrying Canadian fiance Ryan Reynolds.

The couple, who announced their engagement in May, have not yet announced their wedding date or plans but Scarlett told Entertainment Tonight Canada recently that she looks forward to having a stronger bond with Ryan’s home country: “I’m very excited. I’ve had wonderful times in Canada.

“It’s a lovely country, a beautiful country and hopefully I’ll be able to get through immigration faster now!”

The show’s host Roz Weston then joked that Ryan is “a prince up there” and Scarlett may get a crown “made out of beaver or possibly moose” to celebrate his pseudo-royal status, promoting Scarlett to reply: “Okay, that’s creepy - an animal on my head. If it’s alive, maybe. Um, I guess so. I don’t know! I’ll take it!”
