Nicole KidmanNicole Kidman has said she thinks new daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban looks like husband Keith Urban - but he doesn’t agree.

The couple welcomed their daughter a month ago but unlike many of their fellow celebrities, have decided against signing a deal with a magazine for exclusive coverage of their newborn’s first weeks so have to describe her instead.

Speaking on radio show Breakfast with the Stars in Sydney, Australia yesterday, Nicole said that Sunday “looks like Keith. Well, I think she does.”

Keith added that he thought she is “a bit of a mix” between mum and dad - and Nicole had to concede that the baby’s “little bit of hair [has] a bit of a reddish tint”.

The couple also used the time to request that the media give them space during their holiday in the country and while they introduce Sunday to her grandparents and relatives that live there. Nicole explained: “Keith and I are just appealing to the press to give us a little space so we can walk around Sydney and show the baby our town.

“Just a little bit because she’s tiny, she’s not a doll, she’s a real little thing. Just not right in our face or her face because it’s scary for her, she’s tiny. A tiny little thing.”

Keith added: “I get the interest in it, I get that - but at the same time, it’s our little girl and I think sometimes when people come right up in our face and you think, ‘Good God, would you do that to anybody else’s child?’”

While in the country, Nicole will also be shooting additional scenes and re-recording audio segments for her forthcoming film Australia. The family are then expected to fly to London so Nicole can begin work on her next film Nine this autumn.
