Sienna Miller asks Balthazar Getty’s wife to dispel “homewrecker” rumours?
Sienna Miller has reportedly asked her boyfriend Balthazar Getty’s estranged wife to speak up and dispel the rumours that she broke up the couple’s eight year marriage.
Sienna and Balthazar were first publicly linked at the end of June, causing Balthazar’s wife Rosetta to flee to Italy with the couple’s four children. The pair are said to have begun their fling a month or so earlier - but sources close to Sienna insist that Balthazar and Rosetta’s marriage had been on the rocks for months.
A source told the News of the World: “Sienna is being portrayed as a femme fatale and fears for her career because Hollywood hates a home wrecker.
“She hopes Balthazar can get Rosetta to put out a statement saying their marriage was already over. They have already got friends to speak out, saying he was sleeping on their sofas.”
But the source explained that Rosetta isn’t interested in helping out: “It’s nonsense that the marriage was already over.
“When Balthazar went away in May, Rosetta thought it was to see his sick mum in Germany. But she now knows that it was to cavort with Sienna in Prague.”
In related news, the release of Sienna’s new film Hippie Hippie Shake has reportedly been postponed because of the situation.
According to the Daily Mail, the film, about 1960s counterculture in London and the publication of controversial magazine Oz, was due to be released later this year but a source told the newspaper: “Hippie Hippie Shake has been delayed until next spring at the earliest.
“The original plan was definitely to release it this year – the date was in all the trade magazines.
“One of the main reasons for the delay is Sienna’s love life. The studios hope the coverage will have died down by the spring.”
A spokesperson for Universal Studios denied the shift, saying: “The film has always been slated for release in 2009.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
