Rachel Hunter gets engaged to ice hockey star?

Former lingerie model Rachel Hunter has reportedly got engaged to ice hockey player Jarret Stoll.

Rachel, who was previously married to Rod Stewart, took boyfriend Jarret to visit her mum in her hometown of Auckland, New Zealand last week and sources close to the family claim Rachel announced the engagement then.

The couple met at an ice hockey game in 2006 and together bought a $1.8million home in Hermosa Beach, California last year.

A source told the Daily Mail that Rachel is delighted by how well Jarret gets along with her children, 16 year old Renee and 13 year old Liam, from her previous marriage: “Obviously as a single mother you have to treat new relationships very delicately.

“[But] the kids have no troubles with Jarret - Liam now has a first-class ice hockey coach, so he’s happy.”

A spokesperson for Rachel refused to confirm the engagement news saying: “That may be the case. I don’t think they will be talking about the wedding for a while.

“When Rachel’s ready to announce she’s engaged I am sure she will do it.”
