Rod recently gave the trio a lift back to London in his private jet after a gig in Ireland and the band’s singer/guitarist Danny Jones told the Sun: “Rod told us he needed our passports and collected them - then he drew rude things on our photos.”

Unfortunately for McFly, the ink wouldn’t rub off and fellow frontman Tom Fletcher explained: “We had to send off for new passports.”
