peaches geldofPeaches Geldof reportedly didn’t really finish with her ex-boyfriend Faris Badwan before marrying new husband Max Drummey.

Peaches and Max married in a quick, private ceremony in Las Vegas last Tuesday but a friend of singer Faris told the Mirror: “I spoke to him at the weekend and, as far as he was concerned, they were still together. Now, he doesn’t know what’s going on.”

A friend of Peaches told the Sun: “She had a huge row with Faris four days before she went away. She said she wanted to get rid of a matching tattoo she had done with him.

“The next thing we know she is with Max [and] she then turned up wearing a wedding ring - saying they had got married.”

The ceremony was carried out at the city’s infamous Little White Chapel by Rev Steven Fabretti. Fabretti told reporters: “They held hands and looked eye-to-eye - with him still wearing sunglasses - during the ceremony.

“They looked very happy together. They were cuddling and kissing and didn’t look in the slightest bit nervous.

“I remember the bride looked very young and pale and quite angelic. They didn’t bring any friends as witnesses, so the photographer had to stand in.

“I asked them each if they agreed to love and cherish each other and they said, ‘I do’. It was over in 15 minutes. The bride changed out of her wedding dress right away - then they left. The groom wasn’t dressed up at all.”

A statement issued by Peaches’ spokesperson yesterday confirmed the union and said that the newlyweds have the “full support of their family and friends” - but Peaches’ dad Bob Geldof is said to have only been told about the couple’s plans two hours before the service and after the couple had already acquired their wedding licence at Clark County Marriage Licence Bureau.

Max is a member of indie duo Chester French while Peaches is said to be working on a reality television show about her life as a socialite.
