Peaches Geldof ignoring ex-boyfriend now she’s married

Peaches Geldof has reportedly been ignoring her ex-boyfriend’s phone calls since marrying Max Drummey last week.

Faris Badwan is said to have thought he was still dating Peaches - but had had an argument - when news of her marriage broke earlier this week. Peaches is said to have eloped with Chester French star Max to avoid slipping further into a drug-fuelled, Amy Winehouse/Blake Fielder Civil style relationship with Faris.

But, a source told the Sun, that Faris can’t even speak to the socialite to get her side of the story because she’s refusing to speak to him: “He didn’t know what was going on and was pretty upset he had to read about it in the papers.

“Faris knew Peaches was going to the States for work but that was it.

“He feels he’s been made a bit of a laughing stock during all of this and is only now getting to the bottom of what exactly happened.”

Peaches’ dad Bob Geldof is also said to be wanting to get an explanation from the 19 year old - but will wait until he returns to London from his holiday in Mallorca this weekend.

A source close to the family told the Daily Mail that Peaches had called him after applying for her marriage licence but before walking down the aisle to get his permission for the wedding: “She basically said she was doing it anyway, and that she hoped she could have his support.

“Bob said ‘On this one, you’re on your own. You’ve made your bed and now you lie in it’.

“He told her there would be massive flak from the newspapers - but she just said it would be good for her career. Peaches said she knew what she was doing, that marriage was a step towards stability.

“The bottom line is that Bob said he would be there to pick up the pieces if it all went wrong. But all that has made Peaches even more determined to make the marriage work.”
