Jennifer Aniston: it’s horrible to say I use my love life as publicity stunts
Jennifer Aniston has denied claims that she uses her love life to help promote her Hollywood career.
Jennifer was first accused of courting attention when she began dating her The Break-Up co-star Vince Vaughn before the film’s release in 2006 then confirmed they had finished around the release of the film’s DVD in December that year.
However, the actress told Hello! magazine recently that she finds the rumours insulting: “I usually go about ignoring such things but when someone says - as has often been incorrectly alleged - I’d abuse a romantic attachment as a publicity stunt or to promote a new movie of mine, that’s really just way below the belt.
“To love and be loved is the most beautiful thing that can happen to a person, and one’s own life is much more important than all the glamour and fame in the world.”
She added that she’s also not afraid to admit to seeing a therapist as part of her efforts to stay healthy and happy: “It’s true that I spent some time regularly taking part in sessions with a psychiatrist.
“I find it to be very normal to lie on a couch every once in a while and to let your head be straightened out. And your heart.”
Jennifer is said to have recently been dumped by John Mayer after dating since the spring.
