kate winsletKate Winslet has said she felt awkward filming sex scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio in their new film Revolutionary Road because they’re such good friends - and her husband Sam Mendes was directing the action.

The Little Children actress told Entertainment Weekly recently: “I just kept saying, ‘This is too… weird.’ And Leo was like, ‘Oh, get over it.’ And I’m going, ‘Yeah, a little reminder: You’re my best friend. He’s my husband. This is a bit weird.’”

But she added she and Leo, who play husband and wife in the film, still work well together even though it’s more than a decade since their first big love story, Titanic: “I hadn’t realised how much my chemistry with him since Titanic would still stick.

“We knew that if we were going to do something again, it had to be something big and emotional.

“It’s great to discover we can just slip right into it, like muscle memory.”
