peaches geldofPixie Geldof has said that she thinks older sister Peaches Geldof is acting out because she’s depressed over the death of their mother Paula Yates.

Paula died of an accidental heroin overdose in 2000 on Pixie’s 10th birthday, when Peaches was 11.

Pixie, who was on holiday in Mallorca with dad Bob Geldof when Peaches married Max Drummey in Las Vegas earlier in the month, explained: “She’s got problems just like all of us have about what happened to my mum.

“I’ve been in therapy not long ago and she has had a hard time.

“That’s why she has done drugs and why this wedding happened too. We’re all depressed in our family.”

Peaches and Max married in a quickie ceremony after just one month of dating on 5th August. Last week, Peaches flew back to the UK alone as Max’s band Chester French completed gigs in the US. Peaches is now in Mallorca with her family and Max is said to be nervous about meeting his new father-in-law for the first time this week.
