amy winehouseAs well as finishing her album, Amy Winehouse is reportedly planning to go into rehab before husband Blake Fielder-Civil leaves prison in December.

At his final court hearing last month, Blake was sentenced a 27 month prison term for assault and perversion of the course of justice. Between time already served since last November and sentence reduction for good behaviour, he could be released at the end of the year but has been moved from his remand prison, HMP Pentonville in London, to HMP Edmunds Hill in Suffolk for remainder of the sentence.

Amy is said to be househunting for a flat to rent in nearby Bury St Edmonds to be close to Blake in Suffolk but now a source has told the Sun that Amy will check into the town’s Focus 12 Clinic instead.

Russell Brand, who beat his own drug addictions at the facility, is said to have suggested the clinic’s director get in touch with Amy’s team after hearing that she was planning to move to the area and she agreed to the plan.

Her dad Mitch Winehouse added: “This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good.”
