peaches geldofPeaches Geldof has reportedly made amends with dad Bob Geldof over her sudden marriage.

Bob was said to be livid that Peaches married Chester French star Max Drummey in Las Vegas on 5th August after less than a month of dating because he was convinced that it was a mistake and a publicity stunt. After the union came to light, Peaches left Max doing gigs in the US while she flew back to London then onto Mallorca where Bob has been holidaying with youngest daughters Pixie and Tiger Lily.

An onlooker at a restaurant in Deià on the Spanish Island told the Sun that the warring dad and daughter arrived for a meal on Tuesday night: “They arrived with Pixie and sat quietly at a corner table on a private terrace.

“They ordered some vegetarian tapas, but you could tell things were tense because Pixie seemed to be doing a lot of the talking.

“But after a couple of drinks the atmosphere warmed up and Bob and Peaches were speaking very intensely together.

“He told her everything was OK and he would support her. Peaches started beaming from ear to ear.”

“Peaches looked like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

“Although Bob was furious about the wedding at first, he’s hugely protective of her and loves her very much - and it was hugely important to Peaches to have his blessing.

“The meal was a massive breakthrough before Bob meets Max for the first time.”
