Lindsay Lohan doing much better than last year, says former fling Calum Best

Calum Best has said he thinks Lindsay Lohan is doing much better now than when he used to know her.

The pair first met at the World Music Awards in London in November 2006 but went their separate ways after a tempestuous week long fling. They then hooked up again in the US last May shortly before Lindsay’s first DUI arrest and second rehab stay of the year.

Now back in Los Angeles filming his reality show, Calum told Life & Style magazine that he has met up with the now clean and sober I Know Who Killed Me star.

He explained: “She’s a cool girl and she’s better than she was, because, at one point, she was in a bad way.”

He added that he’s pleased she seems to have found happiness with best friend/girlfriend Sam Ronson: “I wish her all the best with whatever she does. And, if she’s with a girl, then good for her. In this day and age, it’s all good.

“I [just] hope I didn’t turn her!”
