sharon osbourneSharon Osbourne has said she has no intention of watching the new series of The X Factor now that she’s no longer a judge.

Sharon was on the panel for the first four series of the reality TV competition but left at the start of auditions for the new series, which started last week, after producers reportedly failed to meet her pay demand. Now she’s negotiating a deal to write a novel based on the backstage antics of the show, which is expected to net her around £10million.

She explained this week: “I haven’t watched the show, I just don’t want to. I had to move on.

“It is so draining emotionally. You have a huge responsibility to people.”

But she’s not turning her back on television: she explained she’s working on a new show with husband Ozzy Osbourne and their children Jack and Kelly Osbourne, and she’ll take part in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing with the BBC.
