Keith Urban not letting slipped disc get in the way of shows

It looks like life as a new dad is a little too much for Keith Urban - the country star has been diagnosed with a slipped disc.

Keith and wife Nicole Kidman welcomed daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban into the world at the start of July and after spending their first few weeks as a new family at their home in Tennessee, the trio flew to Australia to introduce their little girl to family in the country. Nicole has also been re-shooting scenes for her forthcoming outback epic Australia while Keith has been flying back to the US for gigs.

A source explained: “Keith mentioned his back pain at his gig on Saturday night but still gave it his all.

“He’s resting between shows but is not letting it intefer with his life too much.”

Most slipped discs - spinal disc herniations - heal by themselves within six weeks, with doctors usually recommended pain relief and gentle exercises or massages.
