Miley CyrusMiley Cyrus‘ hit “7 Things” may well have been about her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas, according to hints by director Brett Ratner.

The single sees the Hannah Montana star listing the “7 Things” she hates about a mystery boy but when it was realised, denied it was about anyone in particular.

However, Ratner, who directed the video for the track has now told MTV that Miley is wearing a clue about the boy’s identity during the clip: “The necklace she’s wearing in the video is the necklace [the boy] gave her. She’s wearing his diabetes or medical necklace.”

Last month Miley revealed she was heartbroken when she finished with Jonas Brother Nick, who is a spokesperson for diabetes groups after being diagnosed with the Type 1 form of the disease.

Miley herself has said about the track: “You can tell by the lyrics that they’re very personal. The stuff she talks about in the video is clever and emotional and fun at the same time.”
