Charlize Theron: Stuart Townsend has made me softer as a person

Charlize Theron has said she thinks boyfriend Stuart Townsend has made her a better person.

Charlize told Elle magazine recently: “He got through to me on a level that no one else did. Stuart made me softer.

“He was one of the few guys who wasn’t afraid of me. What he saw was not toughness but vulnerability.”

The couple of seven years refer to each other as husband and wife even though they’ve not married and have no intention of doing.

She added: “I want to know that I wake up every morning with him because I want to, not because a piece of paper says so.”
