jade goodyJade Goody is reportedly still unsure as to whether she’ll need a radical hysterectomy to stop the spread of her cervical cancer.

The former Big Brother star was expected to find out whether she’d need the operation and/or intensive chemotherapy at a doctor’s appointment on Tuesday but a friend told the Mirror that all she was told was that she needs more tests to check if and where the cancer has spread to.

The friend claims Jade said yesterday that if it has spread, she only has a 50% chance of survival: “I’m all over the place. I can’t stop crying. It [has been] even worse than I was expecting. But I know I have to get through this.

“I am trying to be strong for my boys, but it is so hard. At times I am in bits - I know I need to be positive but I can’t stop thinking about the fact I could be dead before my boys are even grown up.

“It all seems like a bad dream. My life has been torn apart in the space of a few weeks.”

The source added that even if she doesn’t have to have a full hysterectomy, Jade is unlikely to be able to have any more children in the future but is trying to be positive: “I have now had to give up any hope of having children, but I am already thinking about adopting.”
