Emma Watson buys £1million French ski chalet?

Emma Watson has reportedly made her first major purchase with her Harry Potter earnings - a holiday home in France.

According to the Sun, Emma has bought a £1million ski chalet in Méribel in the French Alps to help her indulge her love of skiing and the country, where she lived until the age of five.

A source explained: “Emma realises her wealth has come at a great cost [her privacy] and isn’t going to just fritter it away. She sees the home as an investment as well as an escape.”

The actress gained control of her estimated £10million fortune when she turned 18 in April this year and is said to be set to earn even more money in the next few years off the remaining films in the blockbuster series and a deal with Chanel.
