Paris Hilton: don’t pick on the Jonas Brothers about their viriginity

Paris Hilton has said she thinks it was unfair of MTV VMAs presenter Russell Brand to make fun of the Jonas Brothers decision to not have sex until they’re married.

At Sunday’s award ceremony, Russell joked about stealing one of the boy band member’s virginities while holding a ring, like the purity rings the brothers wear, in his hand then said that Nick, Joe and Kevin should take advantage of their celebrity status to score with girls. He later apologised for his comments.

Paris, who shot to international fame in a sex tape and was at the ceremony to present an award, told Us Weekly: “Don’t pick on them. That [their virginity] is something cool for a kid to keep, so don’t pick on them for that.

“I think that they’re all really good kids and that they’re definitely our next generation of kids and they’re all really good so I think that’s awesome.”
