Jennifer AnistonJennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are said to have met up for the first time since their split in 2005 at the Toronto Film Festival this weekend.

Brad was in the city promoting his new Coen Brothers film Burn After Reading while Jennifer was there for a screening of her new film Management and a source at the Hyatt hotel has claimed the pair met briefly for a drink in the hotel bar.

The source explained: “Brad [was] staying at the Hyatt and Jen went there for dinner.

“She and two of her pals had a drink afterwards and they joined Brad and chatted amicably for a bit.”

Jennifer arrived in Canada after taking part in the Stand Up to Cancer event in New York on Friday night. She spent the previous week filming a cameo for comedy series 30 Rock in the city.

When asked about how she was feeling at the Management screening on Sunday night, she explained: “Things couldn’t be better. [I’m] busy, but it’s great.”

She added: “It’s great to see people come out and support the film. So far, I’m having a ball. It’s lovely to be here.”

Brad and Jennifer married in a lavish ceremony in July 2000 but announced their separation in January 2005. Their divorce was finalised in October 2005.
