Victoria Beckham: I love my new cropped haircut

Victoria Beckham has said she loves her new haircut - a pixie crop.

The former Spice Girl unveiled her new look at the dVb event at New York Fashion Week event at the weekend after spending a reported $800 with Manhattan stylist Garren last week. After foregoing extensions for the Posh Bob - Pob - in 2006, the new cut is a lot shorter and darker than she’s had it for years but she said she’s pleased with the results.

She told the Mirror: “I felt it was time for a real change. I wanted to pull my hair back from my face and have always loved the idea of having a gamime crop.

“I spent a long time looking at the great fashion haircuts of the 90s and went to Garren, the master of those cuts, to create our modern interpretation of this look. I love it!”

A source added that husband David Beckham has yet to see the new ‘do in person but she’s sent him photos of it: “He thinks she looks incredibly sexy. He was blown away.”

In a statement quoted in the New York Daily News, Garren added: “It was clear that we had to go short and create a new look that embraced her beauty, great personality and body.”
