billie piperBillie Piper has revealed she’s not exactly had a perfectly pleasant pregnancy but she’s enjoying it anyway.

She explained recently: “Some women are all about this glowing, blooming thing, aren’t they? I haven’t really tapped into that.”

Filming Secret Diary Of A Call Girl over the summer, she felt like a “sweating sea cow”: “I found the heat very uncomfortable. I was thirsty all the time and always needing the toilet - which is really unhelpful when working to such a tight schedule!”

But she’s found a way to deal with things: “I’ve basically replaced all my vices for a new one - control. I’ve had about 10 scans and I bought one of those baby heart monitor things. Such a bad idea - its like listening to a huge shell on the beach.

“But I do love it. The whole thing [pregnancy] is just so sweet, tender and adorable.”

Billie is due to give birth to the baby, her first child with husband Lawrence Fox, in November. The couple married on New Year’s Eve last year.
