Heather Mills to move to Richard Branson’s private island to escape hate?
Heather Mills has reportedly asked Richard Branson if she can move to his private island in the Caribbean to escape the hatred towards her in the UK and US.
After spending £250,000 on a holiday to Necker Island for herself and 20 friends earlier this year, Heather is said to have approached Branson with the request to help her “escape the hate”.
A source told the Mirror: “Heather reckons she has been subjected to unprecedented levels of hate since her split with Paul.
“She’s tried to start afresh a number of times but can never step out of his shadow. Even when she goes on holiday she can’t get away from it, it’s driving her mad. Heather sees Necker as the ideal place to get away.
“It would be the dream move for her - she wants to get out of the spotlight for a while. She wants to spend a year there to rest and rebuild her life.
“She’s been in touch with Sir Richard and she is confident he will allow her to live there for a while.”
Rooms on the island, usually only let out during “Celebration Weeks”, cost $25,400 a week or the whole island, including accommodation for 28 people, can be rented for $51,000 a night.
But the source explained while Heather would be looking for a long-term stay discount, she think she has “double the cash flow” of ex-husband Paul McCartney at the moment: “Heather made a big deal about the money she got from her divorce … [she] now reckons she has double the cash flow of Paul.
“She’s convinced that his career has stalled while her earnings have rocketed. Heather seems quite proud of the fact she’s managed to make money off the back of the divorce.
“Paul has already coughed up the settlement just to help ease the situation he was placed in.”
Heather was awarded £24.3million in her split from her former Beatle.

Good bye and good luck honey. I hope Branson asks for money upfront, she’s not fond of paying her bills.
