Britney SpearsBritney Spears‘ record label are reportedly planning to rush the release of the singer’s next album after her success at the MTV VMAs last weekend.

Britney picked up three moonman trophies at the ceremony for her ‘Pieces of Me’ video - her first ever VMAs wins despite 16 previous nominations - and a source has told the Sun that RCA bosses are now keen to bring forward the release of her next album to capitalise on the goodwill towards her.

The source explained: “Britney’s last album, Blackout, was released in the middle of her meltdown and carried negative associations.

“It did OK but wasn’t as big as her previous releases. Label chiefs vowed her private life would never be allowed to overshadow her career again.

“However, they’ve been astonished by how well she’s managed to piece her life back together.”

The source claims a single is now planned for November with the full album set for release in December, accompanied by live shows.

A second source added: “Britney has been trying to keep herself busy over the last few months and music has been a great outlet for her emotions. She’s already got a stack of possible tracks for the album and it’s just a matter of pulling it all together.”
