Kate Moss had car break-in scare

Kate Moss reportedly had a scare yesterday morning when she discovered her car had been broken into - because she thought the thieves had taken a £200,000 diamond ring.

Kate’s Range Rover was parked outside her North London home when the incident occurred and a source close to the supermodel told the Mirror: “Kate was absolutely distraught when she saw broken glass on the driveway and realised that her car had been broken into.

“She wasn’t sure what she’d left on the backseat and initially feared they’d got away with a £200k diamond solitaire ring. Then she had a closer look and was thrilled to find just how little was missing.”

In fact, all that had been taken was a single £10 and a box of Quality Street chocolates: “The police were called and they took the break-in extremely seriously. They recommended ways for her to step up security and ensure it never happens again.

“Unfortunately the criminals are still at large, though - £10 better off and a little bit chubbier.”
