Jonas BrothersThey might be three of the biggest teen stars on the planet at the moment but the Jonas Brothers have revealed they got starstruck at the thought of meeting Britney Spears.

The brothers were introduced to the star backstage at the MTV VMAs last week and Kevin Jonas told Us Weekly: “We were so excited!

“It is an honor and privilege to meet Britney Spears, of course. She looked great.”

Joe Jonas added he didn’t really know what to say to Britney, who picked up three Moonman trophies at the star-studded ceremony: “We didn’t want to become a ‘Hi, Britney Spears, nice to meet you’ and take a picture [type-of-thing].

“I said, ‘We have always loved your music,’ and I told her she was the first CD I have ever bought. She was like, ‘Wow! Thank you.’

“She [also] asked us how [her old bodyguard] Big Rob and [her former personal assistant] Felicia [Culotta] were doing.”

Yesterday Britney’s record company confirmed rumours that her sixth studio album ‘Circus’ will be released worldwide at the start of December.
