Miley Cyrus and Justin GastonMiley Cyrus has sparked “new boyfriend” rumours after she was spotted attending church with aspiring country singer Justin Gaston.

The pair attended church in Pasadena, California on Sunday morning along with other members of her family then male model Justin was spotted at the Disney Concert for Hope, where Miley performed on a bill with Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.

A spokesperson for the Hannah Montana star insists that Justin, who at 20 is just over four years older than Miley, is “a friend from Nashville [who is] visiting LA for the week” but other sources close to the family wonder if the couple are more than friends.

One source said: “They’ve been spending a lot of time together while he’s in town. Just the two of them.

“Looking at the numbers, the age gap between them is pretty big but Miley is really mature for her age and they don’t see a difference at all.”

It seems Justin may have an eye for teen stars: his spokesperson told People magazine that he “had a ‘crush’ on Taylor Swift for quite a while” after starring in the video for her new single ‘Love Story’.
