paul mccartneyPaul McCartney has reportedly told friends things are still going well with girlfriend Nancy Shevell.

The couple, who were first linked nearly a year ago, are said to be contemplating marriage once Nancy’s divorce is finalised and recently spent a fortnight travelling the historic 3000 mile long Route 66 across the US.

Attending the 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty charity event as party of London Fashion Week this week, he is said to have been overheard telling fellow guests: “Things are going great.

“We enjoy one another’s company and Nancy gets on brilliantly with the family.

“It is still early days but we are very much together. She is wonderful.

“Our American trip was great, I really enjoyed it. It was good to get away for a bit.

“It’s an amazing thing to do - I would recommend it. We saw some places I’ll never forget. But I must say it’s nice to be back, too.”
