Spice Girls and Mark Ronson win at Vodafone Live Music Awards
While some award shows only reward on the biggest of the big, others on the most cutting edge or others still just reward Britney Spears, last night’s Vodafone Live Music Awards saw a diverse selection of musicians from the pop world picking up trophies.
Primal Scream picked up two trophies - the one for overall Best Live Act and for Outstanding Contribution to Live Music, while Mark Ronson and Kate Nash picked up the respective Best Live Male and Best Live Female awards.
The Ting Tings picked up the Best Live Breakthrough Act for newcomers while the Spice Girls reunion tour was also celebrated - ahead of reunions from the likes of Led Zeppelin.
The award ceremony saw performances by the Pussycat Dolls and James Morrisons, and guests at the star studded event included Daisy Lowe, Estelle and former Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland, as well as TV presenting best friends Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton.
