Jamie Lynn Spears told mum Lynne about pregnancy in a note

Jamie Lynn Spears told her mum Lynne Spears about her pregnancy through a note, Lynne has now revealed.

Speaking on Wednesday’s Today show, Lynne explained that Jamie Lynn called her on the way to a lunch date and asked her to come home instead. When Lynne got there, the then 16 year old handed her a note and told her to go into the bedroom to read it.

Lynne recalled: “It said she was pregnant and everything was going to be OK. She was going to raise it.

“I thought it was a joke I was waiting for the punch line.

“I was in shock. I think I was just truly in shock, and then I started to cry. And she started consoling me at that point.”

Jamie Lynn’s daughter Maddie was born in June and the former Zoey 101 star is said to have made $1million after Lynne arranged a deal with OK magazine for the pregnancy announcement exclusive and the first pictures of the newborn.
