angelina jolie and brad pittAngelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s relationship is reportedly suffering because the couple are so busy with their six children and careers.

After welcoming twins Knox and Vivienne in July, the family spent the summer at their French chateau but will be spending the rest of the year in Berlin while Brad films new Quentin Tarantino film Inglorious Bastards. The family arrived in the city on Tuesday and will be staying near Wannsee Lake just outside of the city, at the Palais Parkschloss, which boasts a private helicopter landing pad, a dock and full security system. (The property was sold at auction last year and was rumoured to have been bought by Tom Cruise.)

However, reports in the US tabloid press have claimed that the couple are on the verge of splitting up after months of tension, exacerbated by Brad’s travelling around Europe and the US promoting new film Burn After Reading.

Star magazine quotes one source as saying: “Things have gotten heated between Angie and Brad. Angie is volatile right now. She misses her mother [who died last year] more than ever, she’s barely eating and she feels stuck at home amid total chaos with six kids.

“And to make matter worse, she’s nagging Brad to the point that he uses any excuse to take off.”

A source told In Touch that it’s actually gone farther than that: “She told Brad they were over. She said she didn’t want to be with him any more and she wanted to split.

“He’s grown used to her mood swings, so he just tries to stay cool.

“If she doesn’t want to see him, he stays away, but it break his heart not being around the kids.”

Earlier this month, the couple denied rumours that they had separated, with Angelina’s spokesperson saying the stories were “absolutely not true”.
