Katie Price and family moving to LA in the new year

Katie Price has confirmed that her family’s move to Los Angeles is going ahead.

The glamour model, also known as Jordan, told the Mirror recently that she and husband Peter Andre have been in the States recently making plans: “We’re going out for four months in January and the new house is all set.

“We’re in the middle of buying so hopefully it will all go through.

“It’s in LA but not near the Beckhams or anyone like that.

“Our priority was something really big and close to a special needs school for [our son] Harvey. We also wanted a pool as Harvey is really into his swimming.

“It’s great as we’ve got loads of work out there and will be really busy. Pete’s recording his album out there and we’re filming for the new [fly-on-the-wall] show.”

She added that she hopes to be a guest judge on the next series of American Idol, in order to boost her celebrity over there: “I’m a huge American Idol fan. Last time I was in LA [Simon Cowell] invited us to the show but unfortunately we couldn’t make it.

“I’d definitely be interested in doing something with him. I’m sure we’ll go to dinner and see what happens.”

Katie was placed second in Fametastic’s recent poll about which British celebrity would be next to crack the US gossip scene.
