Sharon Stone overreacts to son’s medical problems, says judge
Sharon Stone has been criticised for overreacting to her son Roan’s medical issues.
Court papers from the Casino star’s recently child custody arrangements challenge have revealed that the court officials believe Sharon exaggerated problems related to eight year old Roan’s health.
In papers filed on Monday, San Francisco Superior Court judge Anne-Christine Massullo wrote: “[Sharon] appears to overreact to many medical issues involving Roan.
“Unfortunately, the problem caused by mother’s overreactions is painfully real for this child.”
The judge cites one time when Sharon thought the boy was suffering from a spinal condition but “there was no evidence to support this allegation.
“Another example of an overreaction is that Mother suggested that Roan should have Botox injections in his feet to resolve a problem he had with foot odor.
“As [his father Phil Bronstein] appropriately noted, the simple and common sense approach of making sure Roan wore socks with his shoes and used foot deodorant corrected the odor problem without the need for any invasive procedure on this young child.”
The case ruled in favour of Roan continuing his schooling in the city with his dad, rather than moving to Los Angeles to be with Sharon, who claimed he needed to be in the city to have “better and closer medical attention”. Sharon will continue to have regular visitation access with the boy, including weekend stays each month and longer visits during holidays.
