The couple exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony in 2003 but after the Supreme Court of California overturned the state’s previous ban on same sex marriage in May, the couple have said they’re planning to marry.

Melissa told Extra recently: “We have four children and we’re trying to find the right time .. to go down and do it.”

The couple have an 11 year old daughter Bailey and ten year old son Beckett - from Melissa’s previous relationship with Julie Cipher - and in 2006, welcomed twins, son Miller and daughter Johnnie.
