jade goodyJade Goody has reportedly had her hair chopped off in prepartion for her forthcoming chemotherapy.

Jade had orginally hoped that her hair would not be affected by the cancer treatment but during her hysterectomy last month, doctors found the disease had spread further than they’d realised and she would need a more severe form of the treatment.

A source told the People newspaper that the Big Brother star has had her previously long, brown locks cut short and dyed blonde: “Jade is [also] trying hats and scarves to wear when she starts her treatment in the next couple of weeks.”

The reality TV star was told that she had cervical cancer while starring in the Indian version of Big Brother in August. Doctors have said she has around a 50 per cent change of survival given the nature and severity of the illness.
