Chris Martin: you can’t just fancy one member of Girls Aloud, it’s all or nothing

Chris Martin has said he think it’s impossible to fancy just one member of Girls Aloud.

The Coldplay frontman, who is married to Gwyneth Platrow, referenced the girl group while picking up the Album of the Year and Best Act In The World Today awards at yesterday’s ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Picking up the trophies with his bandmates, he said: “Well this is f****** awesome. It’s like doing a wedding speech because everyone here is our friend.

“I’ve got so much to say I’ll probably bore your pants off, which would be no bad thing if you were Girls Aloud.”

Speaking to the Mirror later, he explained that he hasn’t got one favourite Girl: “I can’t just say I fancy [Cheryl Cole], it’s like a Rubik’s cube.

“You need all the colours together. You can’t have one without the other.”
