Minnie Driver shows off her son on MySpace

Minnie Driver has followed in her ex-boyfriend Matt Damon’s footsteps and decided to not sell photos of her newborn child.

Minnie gave birth to son Henry Story Driver, her first child, on 8th September and rather than sell the photos to a magazine, she posted the first pictures of mother and son on her MySpace page yesterday.

The uploaded photo shows Minnie watching her month old boy as he sleeps on her chest.

Minnie and Matt dated for a year after meeting on the set of Good Will Hunting in 1997. Matt and wife Lucy welcomed their third daughter in August but pledged not to sell pictures of the newborn.

Other new celebrity mums such as Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry have also chosen not to sell photo shoots with their babies. In July this year, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are said to have negotiated a $15million deal for photos of them with their newborn twins Knox and Vivienne while earlier in the year Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez picked up seven figure sums for their babies’ first pictures.
