nicole kidmanNicole Kidman has reiterated that she has no regrets about marrying Tom Cruise - but hopes her children don’t marry that young.

Nicole was just 22 when she married the actor in 1990 and they were together for almost 10 years before splitting in 2000, and divorcing in 2001.

She told Elle magazine recently: “Would I want my kids to get married at that age? No! But that was an extraordinary thing for me.

“[Tom] taught me an enormous amount - as a girl into a woman. Absolutely, I would do it again.”

But she added that her journey was only completed when she divorced him and married new husband Keith Urban: “I didn’t foresee it, that you can meet somebody who you have a deep and more profound love with.

“I don’t mean to take away anything with Tom, but I would hope that he has the same thing - I know he has the same thing with Katie [Holmes].

“You move into a stage where you’re able to be a more fuller person in your relationship.

“Really, for our kids - they were amidst a lot of love. It wasn’t bad. And now we’re amidst a more evolved love. Keith gave me a life. He gave me a home. He’s loyal and he’s a soul searcher.”

Nicole and Tom had two children together - daughter Isabella and son Connor - and both have young daughters from their new relationships: Tom & Katie have two year old daughter Suri while Nicole & Keith welcomed their daughter Sunday in July.
