Johnny Depp offered £32million for new Pirates of the Caribbean film?

Johnny Depp has reportedly been offered £32million to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in another Pirates of the Caribbean film.

While co-stars Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley have said they’re not keen to return to the ocean waves for a fourth time, Johnny is said to have been offered the colossal pay packet to tempt him back to the franchise.

An inside source explained: “There’s only one Johnny Depp. They simply cannot make another Pirates movie without Jack Sparrow.

“The first three films have earned $2.7 billion at the box office. It’s no surprise that Disney executives want Jack back and they are willing to pay big bucks to get him.”

If the deal goes through, it would make Johnny the highest (up-front) paid actor in Hollywood history, overshadowing the £29million Tom Hanks received for the forthcoming Da Vinci Code prequel, Angels & Demons.

I think that Captain Jack Sparrow is well worth the money. I love those movies. He is what makes the movie come to life. (You never know what he’s going to do next) And he’s so fun to watch.
As for the Orlando & Keira. I can’t believe they would pass up the chance to be part of one of those movies. It’s Disney. I think everyone (even the kids) would want to see them continue playing their parts. The whole love story was awsome! They should finish what they have started. They are a big part of the whole thing.
If I had the chance I would NEVER pass up such a offer. Those movies are GREAT.
Way to go Johnny. I’m so glad they are going to make a 4th one & I’m glad that Johnny is going to keep playing the part of CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW. (I hope Disney keeps making more of these movies. I for one will watch all of them as long as CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW continues to be in them)

I think that it would be absolutely GREAT if Johnny Depp would make yet another Pirate Moive. CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW is the best character in my book. I agree with Chevy Baby on this one, I would watch these movies for a long time as long as CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW (played by Johnny Depp ONLY) was in them. I have the entire series and can’t wait for him to make up his mind to make another one. I will keep my fingers crossed. And if Keira Knightley doesn’t want to be in this movie, I am soooo willing to take her role…. lol..
